Privacy policy

This site asks you for no personal information. There is no account and no form, and nothing you enter in an estimator is kept on a server. It measures its audience anonymously with Google Analytics, which you can switch off. This policy follows Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25).

Updated October 13, 2026

01Who is responsible

The site is published by Lightplane Inc., who is also the person in charge of the protection of personal information under Law 25. For any question: [email protected].

02What we collect

Estimates are computed in your browser, from price files published with the site. The dimensions, region and choices you enter stay on your device. There is no account to create, no form to fill in and no storage of your data on a server. Only anonymous usage statistics are collected (see Cookies and analytics).

03Cookies and analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) for anonymous usage statistics: visitor counts, pages read, device and approximate region. Google Analytics sets `_ga` cookies on your device and the data is processed on Google's servers, possibly outside Quebec. Google Analytics 4 does not keep IP addresses. Nothing is used for advertising: advertising signals are denied by default and there is no advertising pixel.

Analytics is on by default. You can switch it off at any time with "Personalize" in the cookie notice, or with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page: it stops and the `_ga` cookies are deleted. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, it is switched off automatically. Fonts and images are served by the site itself.

05Shared links

An estimate's link holds your choices (area, materials, region). If you share it, whoever opens it sees the same choices. Share it only with people you choose.

06Web server logs

Like any web server, the one that sends the pages may briefly note the IP address and the page requested, to run and to protect itself from abuse. Those logs are not used to measure audience or to identify you, and are neither sold nor shared.

07External sites

Cited sources lead to other sites (manufacturers, public bodies, municipalities). Their own policies apply when you visit them.

08Questions and complaints

Write to [email protected]. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec. Any change to this policy is dated on this page.
