head-to-head coverage
In French: couverture tête à tête
Definition
The spacing rule for sprinkler heads: each head's spray reaches the next head. Areas near a head get more water than areas far from it; full overlap evens out the watering and avoids dry strips. Put a head in each corner first, then along the edges, then inside.
